Las Hornillas is found in the foothills of the Miravalles Volcano, where you can enjoy the very unique experience of walking inside an active crater! The only place in Costa Rica that has that possibility. Some of the things you get to experience are: • Fumaroles • Active crater with volcanic mud pots (40°C 100°C).
• Bubbling Water Pools
• Hot stones and crystallized sulfur
• Mud baths in an outdoor/natural spa (3 different mud colors)
• 3 Hot Springs
You can actually make use of the hot springs and the mud baths (amazing healing properties in both!) And besides all of that there are 2 waterfalls and 2 hanging bridges you will get to experience!
